Publishing to TikTok
Connect your TikTok account to schedule and publish videos and photo posts from PostEverywhere.
Connecting your account
- Go to the Accounts page
- Click Connect Account and select TikTok
- Review and accept the compliance requirements
- Sign in to your TikTok account and authorize PostEverywhere
- You'll be redirected back and the account will appear in your list
Compliance note
TikTok requires you to accept certain compliance requirements before connecting. This is a standard part of TikTok's third-party app authorization process.
Content types
Videos
- 1 video per post
- Duration: 3–180 seconds (up to 3 minutes)
- Vertical video recommended for best results
- Processing may take up to 5 minutes after upload
Photo posts
- Upload multiple images as a photo slideshow post
- TikTok displays them as a swipeable gallery
Media is required — TikTok does not support text-only posts.
Platform-specific settings
When creating a post, click the TikTok tab in platform customization to access these options:
Caption
Up to 4,000 characters for your post description. Include hashtags here.
Privacy level
Control who can see your TikTok:
- Options available depend on your account's settings and app permissions
- Privacy levels are queried from your TikTok account's current configuration
Interaction settings
- Disable duets — prevent others from creating duets with your video
- Disable comments — turn off comments
- Disable stitches — prevent others from stitching your video
Tips
- Keep videos between 15–60 seconds for best engagement
- Vertical (9:16) format is essential for TikTok
- Use trending sounds and hashtags in your caption
- Photo posts (slideshows) are gaining popularity — great for tutorials or visual content
