Publishing to LinkedIn
Connect your LinkedIn personal profile or Company Page to schedule and publish posts, images, videos, and documents from PostEverywhere.
Connecting your account
- Go to the Accounts page
- Click Connect Account and select LinkedIn
- Sign in to your LinkedIn account and authorize PostEverywhere
- Select whether to connect your personal profile, a Company Page, or both
- You'll be redirected back and the account(s) will appear in your list
You can connect both your personal profile and any Company Pages you manage.
Content types
Text posts
- Up to 3,000 characters
- Text-only posts are supported — media is optional
Images
- Up to 20 images per post (the most of any platform)
- Cannot combine images with video or documents in the same post
Videos
- 1 video per post
- Duration: 3–600 seconds (up to 10 minutes)
- Cannot combine video with images or documents in the same post
Documents (PDFs)
- 1 document per post
- Upload PDFs to create carousel-style document posts
- Documents cannot be combined with images or videos — it's one content type per post
- Great for slide decks, guides, and educational content
Platform-specific settings
When creating a post, click the LinkedIn tab in platform customization to access these options:
Post content
Write your post with up to 3,000 characters.
Visibility
Control who can see your post:
- Public — visible to everyone on LinkedIn
- Connections Only — only your connections can see it
- LinkedIn Members — visible to logged-in LinkedIn users
Disable resharing
Toggle this on to prevent others from reposting your content.
First comment
Schedule a first comment to be posted immediately after your post goes live. Useful for adding context, links, or engagement questions.
Tips
- LinkedIn document (PDF) posts are highly engaging — they appear as swipeable carousels
- Posts from personal profiles typically get more reach than Company Page posts
- Use the first comment for links to avoid LinkedIn reducing reach on posts with links in the main body
- LinkedIn supports up to 20 images — great for visual storytelling or photo dumps
- Keep videos under 10 minutes for best results
