How to Connect Social Accounts

To publish content through PostEverywhere, you need to connect your social media accounts.

Connecting an account

  1. Go to the Accounts page in the sidebar
  2. Click Connect Account
  3. Select the platform you want to connect (e.g., X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)
  4. You'll be redirected to that platform's login page — sign in and authorize PostEverywhere
  5. Once authorized, you'll be redirected back and the account will appear in your list

Important notes

  • Instagram and Facebook require you to connect through a Facebook Page. Personal Instagram accounts must be converted to a Professional or Business account first.
  • X/Twitter connects directly with your account credentials.
  • LinkedIn can connect personal profiles or company pages. You'll be prompted to select which pages to connect.
  • YouTube connects through your Google account.
  • TikTok connects directly with your TikTok account. You'll need to accept compliance requirements before connecting.
  • Threads connects through your Instagram account.

Reconnecting an account

If an account shows a warning or stops working, the connection may have expired. Click the Reconnect button next to the account to re-authorize it.

Disconnecting an account

To remove a connected account, go to the Accounts page, find the account, and click Disconnect. This does not delete any posts already published through that account.

Account limits

The number of social accounts you can connect depends on your plan:
